Actually, I was like other people who were a bit hesitant to getting insurance. Before, I really can’t see the point of having one and I really view it as an added burden to my family. I don’t see the point of paying to something that will not return to me. Our family is not well-off and the money that we have is just enough to feed our family. And if I pay something like insurance, it would mean taking a bit of food from our family’s table. But my views totally changed when my eldest daughter was rushed to the hospital because she was terribly sick. And because of that incident, we lost a lot of money. We even came to the point of borrowing some money from our friends and relatives because her medication and hospitalization was so expensive.

This event really caught us off guard and we felt that we weren’t really ready for that kind of situation. And what if it repeats again or an accident came? We were not just ready for it.
